Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Zach Roth is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Municipal Acquisitions. He is responsible for the financial underwriting for new acquisition opportunities, execution of all transactions, and internal financial controls and strategies.
Mr. Roth was born and raised in the Washington DC metro area. Prior to joining Municipal Acquisitions, he was a Financial Analyst for Continental Realty Corporation in Baltimore, Maryland, a real estate investment and management company with a portfolio comprised of shopping centers, apartment communities, student housing, flex space, office parks, undeveloped land and warehouse buildings in excess of $1.5 billion. In this capacity, he was responsible for underwriting, financial modeling, drafting investor financing packages and communicating with institutional investors. Mr. Roth assisted in closing over $350 million in property financings with various commercial banks, life insurance companies, and government agencies during his time at Continental Realty Corporation.
Mr. Roth graduated from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business, earning both a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Real Estate as well as a Master’s of International Business.
Mr. Roth is an active University of South Carolina alumnus. He has been a guest real estate lecturer at the undergraduate level and served as a judge and mentor for the University of South Carolina entrepreneurship competition. He serves on the University of South Carolina Dance Marathon Alumni Board, benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, as well as the Darla Moore School of Business Alumni Board.
Locally, Mr. Roth actively supports the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, serving as an advisor to the Finance Committee and as a member of the Alumni Board.
